The Glamorgan History Walks are an award winning series of guided walks to places of historical interest across the ancient county of Glamorgan. This walk takes you on a voyage of historical discovery in Kenfig.
A shorter alternative to the Kenfig Pool and Sker walk. The medieval town and port of Kenfig was one of the principal economic hubs of the ancient Welsh kingdom of Morgannwg and its castle was a royal household. But precious little remains of what was once there, and legends abound about the fete of the town. Come with us we walk the old parish boundaries and explore the old castle remains.
