Trailblazers January Walk & Tidy – Saturday 17 January, 10–12

We’re starting the year with a lively two‑mile walk across Coity Walia common land, mixing light litter‑picking with a bit of footpath clearance as we go. One of our aims this month is to reopen the long‑lost views across Pencoed from the top of Cefn Hirgoed, where overgrowth has slowly closed things in.

The route is mostly off‑road with short stretches of quiet pavement. There’s a stepped slope at the start, but we’ll take it at an easy pace and enjoy the breather at the top.
