Make that Mini Mine with SEHBAC

Right now our biggest ever competition is underway and you could be driving away in a brand new Mini!

How the competition works (Summary - for full terms see below)

Choose a bid amount which you think might be the lowest unique bid.

You can pick a bid amount from as little as 1p (0.01) to as much as £1000.00 (1000.00)

Place your bid by sending a text message which must start with the MINI followed by a space and then your bid in decimals. For example, if you choose a bid of £1.34 your message would be MINI 1.34

Send this message to 88833.  Texts cost £1.50 each plus your standard network rate.

You’ll receive a message back telling you whether your bid has been successful.

That means you’ll know right away whether your bid is the lowest unique bid or unique but not the lowest unique bid.

If you hold the lowest unique bid and somebody bids a lower unique bid, you will be informed that you no longer hold the lowest unique bid.

If you hold the lowest unique bid and somebody bids the same amount as you, you will be informed that you no longer hold a unique bid.

If you have a unique bid that becomes the lowest unique bid, you will be informed that you are now the holder of the lowest unique bid.

The person with the lowest unique bid of all the bids registered when the auction closes will be able to purchase the prize for the amount bid.

This is a game of skill

Our auction does not contain the same risk factor as luck and chance.

The reason for this is because you are not waging your money on the probability that a certain event will happen.

Instead, you are spending your money on a bid to place on an auction that you have a fair chance of winning.

In our auction, success depends on the exercise of skill and judgement by the participants and does not, as it does in a lottery, rely wholly on chance.

In our MINI auction you are given information as to whether your bid is the lowest unique, not unique, or unique but not lowest.

This gives you the opportunity to develop a bidding strategy.

We also provide a clue each weekday at approximately 1730 as to the lowest bid value from the previous day, further helping you to strategise.
