Uniting Wales against cancer this September with Cancer Research Wales

Cancer Research Wales is the Welsh cancer research charity.

It’s the only charity wholly dedicated to funding cancer research in Wales for Wales.

On September 20, Cancer Research Wales is asking the people of Wales to unite against cancer by joining the Stripe a Pose campaign.

It’s easy to get involved in Stripe a Pose – just make a suggested donation of £1 to Cancer Research Wales and put on your best stripey socks, your favourite stripey t-shirt, your most colourful stripey jumper, your stripiest beanie hat or scarf.

You can Stripe a Pose at school, work or with your friends and join in online by posting pictures of yourself in you stripey clothes and using the hashtag #StripeAPose

Stripe a Pose is inspired by Cancer Research Wales’s striped logo which is based on DNA gels that our scientists use to find cancer cells.

1 in 2 of us will develop cancer and every week in Wales and 175 families lose a loved one to cancer and your support can help bring better treatments closer to home.

Cancer Research Wales has invested over £30 million in funding the best researchers, clinicians and health professionals to push the boundaries of cancer research discoveries here in Wales.

So on 20 September, help Cancer Research Wales to keep delivering hope to people affected by cancer by taking part in Stripe a Pose.
