Welcome back to Beverley Racecourse for Very British Raceday

It’s the first Saturday raceday of 2026 – the popular Very British Raceday is back! Featuring a 7 racecard and plenty of food & drink.

Beverley Racecourse are delighted to celebrate the Hilary Needler Trophy, a race that means so much to the Racecourse. It’s one of the the oldest private sponsorships in horseracing, first run in 1965! It has thrown up some fabulous racehorses – Attraction, Easton Angel, Liberty Beach and Star Of Lady M who have gone on to be stars!

On the track the action is electric with two key Royal Ascot trials as the the feature races with the Two-Year-Old Trophy and the Hilary Needler Trophy. In 2025 it was Old Is Gold and Argentine Tango who landed the spoils.

Delighted to announce that Platinum Queen will be performing LIVE after racing at Beverley Racecourse on Very British Raceday – Saturday 30th May

All the floor fillers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the champions, Don’t stop me now, The Show must go on.

Under Pressure to purchase tickets? All admission tickets include the Live Music after racing with the band performing for 60-90 minutes after racing.

Ticket information

There's something for everyone with three admission enclosures – Picnic, Grandstand & Paddock and Premier Enclosures.

Concessions (65+ & Student) are available in the G&P Enclosure.

PLEASE NOTE: Children 5-17 years old will require an Admission ticket in the Premier Enclosure. Under 18s remain free of charge and must be accompanied by a paying adult in the Grandstand & Paddock and Picnic Enclosure. 

Accessibility and Companion tickets are available in all Enclosures with an offer of the companion comes for free.
