The first Summer Saturday Raceday of 2026 is coming!
A perfect Saturday afternoon racing at Beverley Racecourse, featuring a 7 racecard, plenty of food & drink and you never know you might find a winner or two!

To celebrate the second running of the (Listed) Charlie Wood Stakes, run over 1mile and 4 furlongs. The inaugural winner was Candleford, owned by Barnane Stud, ridden by Cieren Fallon and trained by Yorkshireman William Haggas.

Charlie Wood was an English flat jockey born in the Hull Slums. He won his first ever race in 1872 and was Champion jockey in 1887.

Entertainment - LIVE Music after racing – 60-90 minute set

Chris Moyles will be on the decks for a DJ set LIVE after racing. A true Yorkshiremen and a seasoned pro of the entertainment industry he’s currently hosting the popular Radio X Breakfast show.

Expect some retro 90s floor fillers and a PROPER great time on the Westwood. The LIVE DJ set will be after racing for 60-90 minutes and included in all admission and hospitality tickets.
