The festive period is a time for moments that matter. For those who may be spending their last Christmas together at Dove House Hospice, these moments can take on even greater significance. With only approximately 10% of hospice funds covered by the government, the support of the local community is essential in ensuring comfort, connection, and joy is possible when it’s needed most.
This year, the hospice is taking part in the National Big Give campaign, a special match funding appeal meaning that any donation made via the webpage between 2nd – 9th December will be doubled at no extra cost to you!
This will help the hospice to provide twice the care, twice the comfort, and countless more moments of peace and connection to local families this Christmas.

“Christmas at the hospice was one of the hardest times of my life, but also one of the most unexpectedly beautiful. Even in such a dark moment, Dove House made sure there was still light. Decorations went up, little treats appeared, and one of the doctors even bought me a gift. I cried. It was so thoughtful.”
-Sharron, whose daughter Katie was cared for at Dove House over the festive season.
*Please note – only donations made between 2nd and 9th December on the website will be doubled, up to the total campaign value of £17,700.
