Did you or your parents ever live or work in the old parish of Lambston? (Comprising Portfield Gate, Sutton and Lambston). This exhibition shows a range of forgotten histories including material on Lambston School, the development of the villages, Lambston WI, history of farming and land-ownership, and archaeology to name a few topics.
When we did this in 2018 we had around 250 people attend, and one of the best things was the number of folk who met old friends and family they hadn't seen in years. The evnt should also be of interest to those with an interest in local history.
