An in person or virtual walking challenge encouraging people to be active and get fit, while raising money to refurbish the Children's Kidney Centre in Cardiff.

Kilometres for Kidneys is here to help you get active while supporting those who need it most. Not only will you feel fantastic as you boost your fitness and mental health, but you'll also be raising funds to support Popham Kidney Support. It’s a win-win!

Why Join?
This challenge isn’t just about getting fitter—it's about making a real difference. Your efforts will directly support children, young people, and adults with kidney disease in Wales, along with their families. Every step you take brings us closer to improving their quality of life. 🙌

The Details:
Start Date: World Kidney Day, March 13th, 2025
End Date: April 13th, 2025
Time to complete: 1 month – walk, run, or move however you choose! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Entry Fees:
Early Bird (Jan 1st–31st, 2025): £10 per person
General Admission (Feb 1st–Mar 12th, 2025): £15 per person
Children (under 16) participating with family: £7.50 per child
Group Entries: Gather a team and each member commits to raising a minimum of £20 in sponsorship!

You have 1 month to complete your chosen challenge.
Choose to walk the path in real life, or complete the distance virtually from wherever you are!

Group Challenge
Wales Coast Path – 1,400k

Logging: You can log using apps like Strava or a participant distance log will be created and distributed.

Acknowledgment: We will send a certificate out to all participants at the completion of the event.

Group Challenge: Groups can enter for free, each participant will agree to raise a minimum of £20 each. The group will receive a certificate for their participation along with positive social media and website coverage from PKS.

Join the Kilometres for Kidneys Facebook group, where you can meet likeminded individuals, log your kilometres and support eachother.
