The Big Switch

Welcome to The Big Switch

There’s some exciting changes arriving on your radio during September across the UK as part of the expansion of Nation Radio and Easy Radio from Nation Broadcasting:

Nation Radio has been available in London, Wales and Scotland for many years and we know you’ll enjoy our great mix of music and shows from radio legends including Neil ‘Doctor’ Fox, Russ Williams and Greg Burns.

Easy Radio is a new radio station from Nation Broadcasting playing relaxing favourites.

The Big Breezy Switch

The Big Switch starts on 1 September when Easy Radio becomes the new name for Breezy Radio on 102.1FM in South Wales and on DAB digital radio across Wales, London and North Birmingham.  We’ll still be playing relaxing favourites and nothing changes except the name.  We'll also be expanding Easy Radio's DAB coverage area in new areas including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Tynemouth.

The Big Switch in the South

The Big Switch reaches the South including Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Bournemouth on 19 September when Nation Radio arrives on 106FM across the South and 106.6FM in Winchester and Bournemouth replacing the service currently broadcasting as Greatest Hits Radio (South Coast) on these frequencies.

You can get ahead of the switch right now by finding Nation Radio on your DAB Digital Radio set in these areas and Nation Radio is also on the Nation Player mobile app and online at nationplayer.com

On the same day, 19 September Easy Radio – playing Relaxing Favourites for the South launches.  Easy Radio arrives on FM replacing the service currently broadcasting as Hits Radio (South Coast) in Southampton on 107.8FM, Portsmouth on 107.4FM and Winchester on 107.2FM.  You’ll also be able to hear Easy Radio on DAB digital radio across South Hampshire (from 1 September), on the Nation Player mobile app and online at nationplayer.com
