Reds celebrates 40 years of making Sunderland feel good about their hair 💈✂️

Salon owner Susan Hall opened the doors of Reds in Grangetown on her 21st birthday in 1986 and has never looked back. 

Word of mouth spreads quickly, and her salon business outgrew its original home, relocating to a much larger one where they've been ever since.

In that time, they’ve cut, coloured, and styled thousands of heads of hair - and got to know the people underneath them.

Before the scissors come out, any look starts with a signature consultation. They'll take the time to find out what's working, what isn't, and what you actually want - not just a trend.

You're in good hands. Their work has graced the catwalks of London, styled some of the world's most famous footballers, and been recognised by Vogue and L'Oréal.

Along the way, they've become one of the most decorated salons - picking up North East Hairdresser of the Year and the 'I Want That Hair' Award from Hair Magazine.

Four decades feels like the right amount of time to say thank you, so this August they're hosting a Garden Party for clients past, present, and anyone who hasn't found them yet.
