What we are looking for:

Account Manager – North East

An established Account Manager ideally with previous experience in selling multi-media campaigns. You must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable with meeting sales targets. Strong organisational skills will be a necessity.

Ultimately, radio sales is all about self-motivation, great relationship building, commercial acumen, and above all a can-do attitude. As well as this, it’s important that you can demonstrate a passion for radio and our brands.

What the job entails:

As an Account Manager for Nation Broadcasting, you will be managing an established set of customer accounts across the North East. You will need to know your local territory and be able to spot commercial opportunities by generating new business leads and identifying, understanding and satisfying current clients’ business requirements.

It will be your job to co-ordinate, manage and deliver fantastic radio solutions for your clients across Nation Broadcasting radio stations. Ultimately, you will be expected to meet individual monthly sales targets.

This is a field-based role and you will be expected to travel throughout the North East to meet clients and prospects in person, building strong local relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The role also offers the flexibility of remote working from home when not attending client meetings.

We will provide:

Full support from the local management team and our Digital and Sponsorship & Promotions teams. Salary is based on experience, with uncapped commission. A car allowance, laptop, printer and mobile phone are provided.

Working at Nation Broadcasting, your time will be a mix of being out in the field meeting clients across the North East, working from home, and having opportunities to catch up face-to-face with colleagues.
