About the Bennetts British Superbike Championship

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Thruxton Circuit for an unmissable three days of action-packed bike racing.

The adrenaline-pumping two-wheeled heroes of the BSB will take centre stage for what will undoubtedly be a pulsating 2025 campaign.

Clocking speeds of up to 200mph mere millimetres from the ground and each other, the action really has to be seen to be believed. It looks fast on TV but with your own eyes, it's incredible.

In addition to the BSB, a bumper bill of support race action will also play out over the course of the weekend.

About Thruxton Circuit

Thruxton circuit is the fastest in the country with legendary high-speed corners and a reputation as a real driver's circuit. It is also one of the longest in the UK at 2.4 miles per lap.

Like many race circuits, Thruxton was originally a wartime airfield. Commissioned in 1941 the airfield was host to both the RAF and USAF and played a major part in the D-Day landings.

Thruxton has seen many recent Formula 1 drivers race regularly at the track at some time in their career. In 1993 Damon Hill (Formula One World Drivers Champion 1996) drove a demonstration run in the Williams FW15C, recording an incredible 57.6-second lap of the 2.4-mile circuit, an average speed of 147.25 mph. It is now the high-speed rounds of the British Touring car championship and superbikes that regularly bring in capacity crowds.

If you don’t fancy taking the wheel yourself or don’t hold a full driving licence yet, a passenger driving experience at Thruxton Circuit is the perfect way to experience speed and the excitement of track driving.
