About Nation Broadcasting

We own a portfolio of national, regional and local commercial radio stations, a digital marketing business and operate and invest in DAB transmission and software companies.

The company started in 2002 with the launch of Radio Pembrokeshire in West Wales. A successful strategy of growth through station acquisitions, new service launches and investment in related sectors has seen us develop considerably.

When taken together, Nation's family of radio stations delivers over 5.3 million hours of listening every week and attract a weekly audience of 880,000. (RAJAR Q2, 2024)

Alongside these official figures, we’re also celebrating record engagement levels with the Nation Player app and continued growth in streaming hours.

In England, we broadcast Nation Radio across London and the South, the North East, Yorkshire and Suffolk whilst Nation's Easy Radio also operates across the South Coast.

In Wales, Nation Broadcasting operates Nation Radio, and Dragon Radio across the country, along with three local commercial radio stations covering Bridgend County, Swansea Bay Region, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

In Scotland, Nation Radio broadcasts to Glasgow, Edinburgh and across the central belt.

Across Wales, London and other parts of the UK we broadcast Nation 80s on DAB, and we also operate a variety of additional Decades and Genre services on Nation Player and on DAB in selected locations – including decade services from the 60s to 00s, Nation Love, Nation Dance, Nation New, Nation Rocks, Nation Xmas and Nation Hits.
