Come along to the Carmarthen Old Guard’s Third Annual Open Day!

Join us on Saturday 17th October 2026 from 10am at Five Roads Community Hall, Llanelli for a day of tabletop gaming, with FREE ENTRY and FREE PARKING.

Carmarthen Old Guard is a friendly local tabletop gaming club, bringing people together through a shared love of gaming. Whether you’re already an experienced gamer, haven’t played in years, or have always wondered what tabletop gaming is all about, everyone is welcome.

Throughout the day there’ll be a wide variety of historical, fantasy and sci-fi wargames, board games and RPGs being played. Come and watch, have a go, meet our members and discover a new hobby. You don’t need to own any games or miniatures, and you certainly don’t need any experience to come along.

We’re always looking to welcome new members of all ages and backgrounds. The club is as much about the social side of the hobby as the games themselves, providing a friendly place to meet new people, make friends and enjoy a shared interest.

We’ll also be holding a charity raffle in aid of Models for Heroes, which supports Armed Forces and emergency service veterans through scale modelling and hobby activities. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the charity.

Tea, coffee, snacks and hot food will be available, and everyone attending will receive a free gift on entry.
