The British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) thunders into Pembrey Circuit for Convoy Cymru on 17-18 May 2025.

Visitors can experience the raw power and adrenaline of these 5-tonne giants as they go bumper-to-bumper on one of Wales’ most iconic race tracks. With nail-biting races, show-stopping displays, and a buzzing family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a weekend that delivers full-throttle entertainment on and off the track.

Whether you're a motorsport fan or just looking for an unforgettable day out, BTRC at Pembrey is the place to be.

Weighing in at more than five tonnes and producing in excess of 1000bhp each, the 20-truck grid that makes up Division 1 and Division 2 will be in action across five races. Look out for stars including reigning champion Ryan Smith, truck racing legend Stuart Oliver, David Jenkins, Luke Garrett and many more.

Off-track, you'll find a packed line-up of activities for all ages. From Monster Truck Rides and Tractor Pulling demonstrations and shows to children’s rides, face painting, a bouncy castle & adventure course.

Blockbuster entertainment is guaranteed as the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy makes its annual trip to South Wales for a double-header that is not to be missed. Clocking eye-watering speeds across both tarmac and dirt, rallycross is renowned for providing an adrenaline rush like nothing else and that couldn’t be truer than when it comes to the 5 Nations Trophy; which is stacked with talent. In addition to the Supercar Class of the British Rallycross Championship, a bumper bill of support race action will also play out over the course of the weekend.

Pembrey Circuit will host the second running of the Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival on Sunday 21 September – when unique, unusual and rare supercars, together with a huge collection of cars and motorcycles, gather at the home of Welsh motorsport.

About Pembrey Circuit

The home of motorsport in Wales, Pembrey has become synonymous as being one of the most popular venues to compete at. At 2.343km in length, playing host to cars, trucks, motorcycles and karts, as well as driving experiences, rallies and sprints, Pembrey continues to flourish and develop.

The fastest lap time ever recorded around Pembrey Circuit was completed by the legendary Ayrton Senna in 22 September 1993. Senna recorded an incredible time of 40.60 secs which has remained the fastest lap around the Pembrey Circuit ever since.
